That's right, Panama's slogan is "Bridge of the World... Heart of the Universe."  The Panamanian people believe that they occupy a special place in the world.  The Panama Canal has certainly made Panama a shipping hub.  Panama's port facilities continue to expand.  The Balboa Port is now the busiest in Latin America!  Panama has also become a hub for air travel in the Americas and the Caribbean.
